LA Brisket in Artesia

Has the BEST brisket in the area!!! Owners are Awesome!!! It ALL so YUMMY!!!

I tried this place for the first time on 8/9/2020. We ordered a rack of babyback ribs and 1 lb of brisket along with a side of elote. The brisket was moist but lacked any smokey flavor. The ribs were so dry that even slathering it in barbque sauce didn't help. I can't even recommend the elote. It was a regrettable experience.

Might not get what you ask for. While order taker my be attentive the guys making the order might not. Salty sandwhich and fries not well done as requested.

These guys are cooking up some great brisket! I love that they named the sandwiches after the LA freeways! That 710 tho!

Very well kept and convenient restaurant. They provide big meals and for economical rates. We liked the menu a lot and the waiters were very friendly and chatty. I recommend this place.

I came here with my friends for a quick dinner bite. The place is tiny, but it is clean, and the staff is friendly to explain on how to order. They have a unique concept on their menu that their popular sandwiches are named after the Los Angeles Freeways. All the sandwiches are different, and you can select your meat from brisket, pork, or chicken. I ordered the FWY 5 made of brisket with a side order of truffle fries. The FWY 5 comes with salsa verde, chipotle cream, onion, tomato, pepperoncini, and cotija cheese. The sandwich was delicious full of Latin flavors. It wasn’t salty and the salsa wasn’t too spicy. It was my first time trying something with truffle oil and it will be the last time. I really didn’t like the fries and smell was overwhelming. Lesson learned that I won’t like anything with truffle oil. Other than that, I want to go back to try the other sandwiches named after our LA FWYs.

The brisket here is on point. I tried the 710 sandwich and loved every bite. The staff was super helpful, they helped me pick my meal. The space has a cool feel to it. I really look forward to coming back for the loaded fries.

Was looking for some BBQ near my work and happened across this place. I was pleasantly surprised with how very delicious the food was. I'm currently on the keto diet and was looking for something that wouldn't be too far off what I can eat. I walk in and was greeted by a smoky aroma that told me I was in for a treat. A very friendly worker by the name of Hope walked me through the menu which is always nice the first time you go someplace. After perusing the menu for a minute, I decided to get some brisket and pork ribs a la cart. The sandwich choices looked delicious though. A few minutes later, the food came out and I was in my way. Price for barbecue is always a bit high but that's just how it goes. Even without sauce, the food was great. Will definitely be back when I can enjoy the food the way it was intended with the sauce and bread. If you are nearby and are looking for some barbecue, check these folks out.

The crew was super nice and the quality was great. It was nice quiet and friendly. My only comment is that the brisket was a bit salty and needed a bit more pepper.

A bit on the pricey side, but the food here is awesome! Come on! Brisket sandwiches? Loaded fries with pulled pork? Are you kidding me? I'll take 2 of everything please! They also have Stubborn Soda on tap here. The Pineapple Cream soda is heavenly!

Good brisket, good staff, good bbq sauce

This place is the bomb! Don't leave without some truffle fries, and don't forget to try the unique sodas that change from time to time. They had pineapple cream soda this time and it's delicious. The sandwiches are very good and cooked to perfection. I wouldn't drive down just for this spot, but I'll always stop by when I am in the area. Yummy!

Brisket bowl is listed 10.75 on menu but actually got charged 11.50. Asked why and they said there is a sign (pretty small sign next to cashier) that says price increase notice is there. Lol never had this experience in 20 yrs.

Love Love Love this place !!! Skip the fancy restaurant & hit this place UP !! I recommend the 405 (yes the sandwiches are named after freeways) no mustard extra aioli. And the loaded pulled pork fries... mmm you can slit those between 3 people.. or not 😉

LA Brisket is one of the best brisket places in the OC. Tender meat, inexpensive and quality service. Love their green sauce. I usually get the 1/2 lb brisket and a side of the slaw. Yummy and easy to order. Plentiful parking. And all the condiments you’ll need.

We love the fusion concept. It's Vietnamese meets BBQ. Their sandwiches are like a Banh Mi with BBQ meat inside. Great idea!That being said, I almost didn't know whether to give them a 4 star or 5 star. Here's the thing, it's called LA BRISKET, but their brisket is not the best thing on their menu. It's good, but always seems to be a little dry. However, their pulled pork is the best. We never are disappoonted by their pulled pork. Highly recommend the place, but if only their brisket was as good as the pork. Maybe they can work on that.

First time here and there will be a second very soon!!! Had the 5 sandwich and a brisket rice bowl. Both were exceptional! The brisket was tender and full of flavor! Had a side of the elote... delicious! I can't wait to be back and try out more of the menu!

Best brisket in town.Edit: for brisket it really depends on what part of the flat you get when ordering the meat. On my most recent visit (I've been to this place several times now), I ordered a lb of brisket and 75% was dry. Most of the meat was from the leanest part of the flat and only a couple of pieces were closer to the point end. Having bought a lb, you'd think you get more better pieces but that's not the case. I'd suggest to management to make it more fair in this sense. I recommend getting the meat only (you get bread with the order), and order a side of rice (it's garlic infused so it goes very well with the Brisket).FYI: OC location is consistently better.

The Brisket is way too salty. I didn't really notice how salty it was when taking bites from the sandwich since it was hidden by the sauces, but when I got sick of the hard bread, I pulled some brisket chunks out and woah was it salty. For $20 for a sandwich, fries, and a drink I was hoping for some decent fries. They are serving frozen shoe strings, probably my least favorites. Eh, it was worth a try. Won't be back.

Oh... My... Goodness!!! This place is awesome!!! My taste buds crave this every day. LolI have had the 405, the 101, truffle fries, elote and brisket fries, and LOVE all of them!!My absolute favourite is the brisket fries, OMG super delicious!!I also love their drinks selection here, something different to the usual colas etc.They have "Stubborn" and "Izze" varieties, my favourite is the Grapefruit Izze.

Delicious food!! New favorite brisket place. I had the brisket bowl with elote. Will def be returning.

Oooh killing me softly..... this Brisket Bowl was so delicious. The side if cabbage slaw was so tasty. My side order of Elote was so good I could just make a trip here just for that. I hope they keep up the good work. Definitely a return visit!

The best BBQ you'll find in the area. I've been here multiple times and it never disappoints. All of the meats are tender and juicy and their sides are just as delicious. The sweet potato fries are amazing too, I always have to order them. If you like BBQ meat you have to go in and try all the different options here. You won't be disappointed.

First time here and I could not believe I found this place. Searching for a bbq joint I found this spot and the minute I walked in the aroma from the bbq let me know I found the right spot.I had their ribs and such a big portion for the price their soda fountain had some unique but delicious sodas I need to go back and explore some more of their menu.

The loaded fries, fantastic. The brisket a La carte, tender and juicy. Overall an excellent experience. This will be my go to place for a quick BBQ fix.Update: went in on a semi busy night and saw them using a microwave to heat up their meat. That's a no go for me. There are ways to better prepare so you don't have to nuke something. That's when I noticed that was the only way they had to heat something up in the front.

last night was the first time in this good restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the generous service, with the high quality meal and fine drinks and with the honest pay. We will absolutely visit there soon.

Love this place. I only visit BBQ nation, once in a while (like 4 times a year). Everytime I go, I enjoy their choices of BBQ.

Some days you just want a heaping dose of fries topped with brisket and accessory ingredients for yourself, and there's not too many places for that. Great balance of crunch from fries and the tender chew from the brisket. Salty savory goodiness, with a cabbage slaw to almost cleanse your palate between each bite

Went to LA Brisket with my wife and our friends. We ordered the 405 sandwich, pulled pork, brisket bowl, sweet potato fries, and elote. My favorites were: the brisket, 405 sandwich, and the fries. The brisket is so damn good, I wish I would’ve ordered a few pounds of brisket before leaving. My wife liked the elote, but I didn’t care for it. The pulled pork was the only thing we didn’t end up finishing. It wasn’t as good as I thought it was going to be. The brisket and the fries are so good I would definitely come here again.

Well,Artesia just got tastier! Fantastic Beef Brisket Sandwiches on Ciabatta Rolls. The Smell from the parking lot starts it off! We had Loaded Fries with Pulled Pork, Holy Cow! Highly recommended
